Here is the site layout for the proposed new school. Notice the amount of parking that would be available for an after hours event with the new school, such as a dance, concert or sporting event. Currently, traffic can be congested all the way up McElwain Drive. The parent and bus drop-offs would all be separate from each other, at both schools (for LMS, the buses would loop around behind and the parents would stop at the front).

Here is the first floor. Note the use (in red) of part of the core areas for a computer lab and music room. The core areas are still built to meet the maximum future needs of the town while a portion of each is used to reduce costs in the meantime. The gym and cafe can be locked off, allowing the majority of the school to be "powered down" to reduce energy costs. Notice that the kindergarten area is in close proximity to all of the core areas, main entrance, offices and special program areas. Future classroom expansion, if needed, would be to "extend" the wings on the lefthand side of the image.

Here is the second floor. Future classroom expansion, if needed, could be build over the kindergarten area on the first floor, and over any extensions on the wings on the lefthand side of the image.
